John Moody has spent two decades in local food – founding one of the largest alternative, outside the system local food distribution options in Kentucky and the east side of the country, starting multiple farm/homestead based businesses that broke six figures or more in sales (and one is now nationally disturbed through Azure Standard!), and has done consulting and similar work for over a decade, helping others make their operations better, or get into the local food game successfully. This intensive will help you be more successful at helping reshape America’s plate, whether you are a farmer, food distributor, or an aspirer!

Doors open at 10.30 for our first ever TX RFC.
Come learn how to stop RFID (radio frequency animal ID) and other bad legislation, rebuild local butchering options outside the system, and more at our first ever TX event.
Speakers include Joel Salatin, John Moody, Shawn and Amy Kelley, and more.
Attendees also get $30 in gifts from our sponsors and vendors and other RFC supporters.
Lunch will be grass-fed and finished pastured beef freshly harvested and cooked from Crunchy Mama Farms along with other local and regional foods.

Shawn and Amy were RFC 2020 Cincy attendees and now 2x RFC alumni, and went home and started… Crunchy Mama Farms. They are doing a fair bit of the meat for RFC TX this year…. attendees can get to help make our meals by attending their two day “Ultimate Kill and Grill,” where you will field harvest and then prep Saturday’s beef, then prepare a pastured pig for Friday night’s VIP dinner, and maybe also do some chickens for Friday lunch!
